Example

If there are 10 participants and they want to play in groups of 2, they can agree that 8 of them will assume roles of parties to the conflict and 2 of them will represent the impartial third party.

The first ones will organize themselves in 4 groups of two players, and 4 roles will be represented. WHEEL 1 (parties in conflict) is spun ("spin" button) to randomly generate a role. Next, clicking on "hide" the same paper does not come out in the next draw.

Repeat this process the number of times necessary to generate all the roles. Then, click on the clock symbol, in the lower right corner, so that the list of chosen roles appears.

In this example, the following 4 roles were generated:

Workers

Journalists

 Children

Entrepreneur

For the 2 participants who intend to assume the role of impartial third party, WHEEL 2 generates a role that will be played by the participants. For example, it will be:

Concilitator

Finally, the scenario represents the situation in relation to which the players will have to act out their roles.

By turning WHEEL 3, the scenario chosen is for example a wastewater treatment plant that emits smells, noise and vibrations that bother the neighbors, who cannot sleep and suffer loss of work and school performance. This represents, in a simplified way, the case of Lopez Ostra v. Spain, judged by the European Court of Human Rights in 1994.

A wastewater treatment plant emits smells, noise and vibrations that disturb neighbors, who are unable to sleep and suffer loss of work and school performance (ECHR Lopez Ostra v. Spain 1994)

The oral debate will take place in relation to this case for 30 minutes, with journalists, workers, children and the entrepreneur successively taking the floor for 5 minutes to expose their protests, concerns, questions, perplexities, points of view, requests, or demands.

The debate can continue if necessary for another 30 minutes with the moderation, contributions, suggestions and proposals of the conciliator.

After that time, a catastrophic event will occur drawn by WHEEL 4. The argumentative debate will continue for another 30 minutes until some consensus or convergence of positions begins to emerge.

In the end, the players who assume the role of conciliator write down the conciliation agreement with the collaboration of all.
